Salt Lake City, UT – June 2025 — In a continued effort to give back to the community and support global humanitarian efforts, the team at Juvo Ventures recently participated in a quarterly service project at Welfare Square Cannery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Welfare Square, operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, plays a key role in providing food to individuals and families in need around the world. The cannery manufactures and packages essential food items such as spaghetti sauce, salsa, applesauce, and raspberry, strawberry, and peach jams — all of which are distributed through the Church’s welfare and humanitarian programs.
During their visit, the Juvo Ventures team was assigned to manufacture and package spaghetti sauce. In a few hours of hands-on service, the team produced and packed over 10,000 bottles, contributing meaningfully to the facility’s ongoing global hunger relief efforts.
“We were truly inspired by the scale, precision, and heart behind the operation at Welfare Square,” said Sean K. Brown, Managing Director Juvo Ventures. “Its mission to uplift and provide for those in need mirrors our own purpose — to empower individuals and communities through access and opportunity.”
This service activity is part of Juvo Ventures’ quarterly tradition of community engagement, where team members step away from their desks and into the field to serve causes that align with the firm’s values.
